Hi,
Any great ideas to do with kids up to 12 years within 1-2 hours from Lakewood? Looking to do something mid winter. Need minyan in the area.
Nyc is an idea but don't think staying in the city is an option. Hotel rooms are tiny and a fortune.

Baltimore is a little farther than you mentioned, but has minyan, food, and lots of great activities for kids. Philly is closer and has most of the same. If you want NYC, you can still stay in cheaper hotels in Brooklyn or nearby NJ.

Poconos usually has minyanim midwinter and there's lots to do for that age kids.
You can also find a decent suite in N Jersey near Monsey & go to Mahwah snowtubing or Palisades Mall for ice skating, bowling, Billy Beez...
