Another vote for Social Thinking; Super flex is the materials that go with social thinking and it comes ready to use, but you should learn a little about the social thinking background so you understand how to apply it. I don't have super flex because the kids I have been working with on this are younger, but I have the materials they make for younger kids and they are very good. I have some kids who find the books boring but I still feel they're effective, and most of the kids I've used it with don't have so much attitude and LOVE the books. They can learn to apply the concepts very quickly and the concepts can be applied to any social skill/situation, unlike books that teach specific things to do and then you need to find a new tool for the next occasion.

Another vote for Superflex! And I agree with above - read some of Winner's texts about social thinking, so you use the material properly.

I have a 10 year old daughter that can use help socially. but I find that only when she works with a therapist 1 on 1 do I see real change. Anyone else agrees?
