I once brought home green beans... didn't realize. Luckily we had some Sefardi neighbors who were happy to use them...
I actually don't see what green beans have to do with kitniyos...

They're in the legume family.

DH says R' feinstein holds they are not kitniyos. I am not sure which one - DH definitely heard from R' Dovid but not sure if it was his own psak or originally from R' Moshe.
