Of course I should ask a dentist myself but in my current reality that can take some time and I'm betting enough moms have seen this situation enough times to know what this is.

Dd is awaiting her first loose tooth. We just discovered an adult tooth starting to cut through well behind her baby tooth. Bottom front. The baby tooth is only very slightly possibly wiggly. The new tooth is far enough back that it isn't touching it at all. It's also so much bigger than the baby teeth that I can't imagine where it would go even when the old teeth start going. Her baby teeth happen to be especially tiny, I think.

It all looks pretty weird to me but I have almost zero experience with these things.

Gonna miss the nice straightforward baby teeth days. .. having nightmares about braces now. ..it all happens so fast...

sounds typical enough not to need a dentist ... but start saving for braces

She might need to get the baby teeth pulled to make room for the big teeth.
My dc just had her two bottom front teeth pulled because the adult teeth were coming in behind it. The dentist gave an exercise to do for now to push them forward.
