I did not watch the whole video. The beginning nauseated me enough to make me stop.

She makes it sound like a beautiful process. She makes it sound so peaceful. I would've believed her if I wouldn't watch death myself. My mother passed away. It's been almost 5 months from her first signs of active dying. It is not pretty. There is no such thing as a dignified death. She watched as her body stopped functioning. One sense at a time. She watched her independence go. She parted with the people she loved and created and with her home that she raised a family in. She went through physical agony, fighting for every breath. Her body did things that she never knew a body can do. She had every color fluid come out of every body part.

So forgive me if I'm afraid of death and don't look forward to the experience.
