I'm looking for a specialist in pediatric endocrinology.
We have medicaid but are willing to pay out of pocket for someone good.

In which area if the world? I know a great one in Dallas, Texas!
OP I know that you probably don't want to go all the way to Dallas, but this is a reminder that there is life outside of Brooklyn!
That said, the one I know in Dallas has only good things to say about the pediatric endocrinology department in Cohen Childrens-LIJ. I don't have a personal experience with them, but I have found Cohen Children's to be an amazing hospital with very professional and caring physicians.

Dr. Bina Shah in NYU was the one recommended to me by Dr. Bulmash.

Depending on what you are looking for, it may be more comfortable for you to take your child to someone of the same gender as he/she. I took my DD to Dr. Shulamit Lerner - I believe she was affiliated with Columbia. I specifically wanted a woman.

You may want to consider editing your subject line, something like, ISO of pediatric endo, your location, and I think you might still have room for something polite like "thanks" or TIA.
What is the medical issue? I know with adult endos that finding a qualified thyroid doc can be a bear. Hatzlacha!

Hypopituitarism
Dc is already seeing an endo but I'm looking for a second opinion, someone higher up.
