is it ok to give my son a bath tonight? It is his usual bath day. No, I cant keep him up until the fast is over!

I was told that it's not the time to luxuriate in the tub. However, having said that, I should think that it applies to an adult who would wear less makeup than usual, etc., in respect of the day, not a chuld who is hardly the age to understand the concept!

Since when can you not bathe on a fast day? I am even allowed to brush my teeth on minor fasts!

the kids need to get clean ... if you give them a bath every night I couldn't see why not ... they are not fasting anyway ...

Bathing is not allowed on Tisha B'Av and Yom Kippur. It's fine the other days... especially WRT a child who is too young to understand the concept of mourning for the Beis HaMikdash.
