Theyre like neighborhood stores that don't really have names...and very hit or miss kind of thing because turnover is daily or so.

Brooklyn here-I used to buy all my tops from Macys and Junees...Skirts mostly Junees because Im tall and they always have short skirts that cover my knees. I have bought dresses from Fashion Island. Lately I have discovered people who sell clothes from the house, like Fallons and Forever Young Trend. They sell Linear collection tops and Go Modest Couture dresses, I can wear to work or Shabbos...Im not fancy.

I guess I just know my body type and order accordingly. I have luck, I guess. I also only order from stores that allow returns (preferably free, such as banana republic, Asos, and Nordstrom).

Zara
H&M
Gap
Bloomingdales sale
Local Jewish stores in Brooklyn and Five Towns, like Talking Fashion, Fame and Debbie's Closet for tznius skirts.
I usually buy kind of expensive shoes once a season (~$250) as I rub down shoes fast and I feel expensive-looking shoes pull most simple outfits together well. That's my splurge.

It also helps if you shop at the same stores often...you get to know your sizes in those stores.
FYI Zara has free returns where UPS picks up the package from your home!
