I am looking to replace my deck and put up an awning. Does anyone have any recommendations for someone to build a deck and an awning company?

Yard World (Gelbwachs) for the deck. Fast, professional and good.

I'm curious, about how much does it cost to build a deck and put an awning?

Was looking at a house that didn't have one.

TIA!

We just ordered an awning for our deck, $4000 but 10% discount now, so $3600

That price was just for the awning. We have a deck.

I think she meant $4000 just for the awning (they're not cheap!). The deck obviously depends on the size, as well as material. Real wood will be much, much cheaper than artificial, but it needs more maintenance, and even then, may need to be replaced after 15ish years. For a 12x16 deck, I think it's around 4-5k for wood, and 7-10k for artificial.

Awnings are very expensive, especially the retractable ones. I've heard good things about Tri-State and worked with Platinum Custom Awnings for a different project (I don't have an awning, or a deck for that matter). Platinum has a different product than Tri-State, he makes fully retractable frameless awnings that may be worth considering (but they are more expensive and he will refer you to Tri-State if he thinks that would be better for you).
