I'm having a baby this summer iyH and we'll be in the sweltering city all summer, and so looking to take my kids away for a weekend in June. They really want to fly. Miami would be ideal but is out of the question (Zika)
Any ideas for a nice quick family getaway next to minyan , pref villa with pool or shabbos friendly hotel, somewhere beautiful and warm? Option of kosher food a major plus!!

I saw advertised South Blooming grove. 8 minutes to kj.
Weekend Rentals. beautiful houses on acres of land with pools etc.
Kosher food galore. Deli restaurants take out bakeries.
If I find ad I'll post.

Thank you, but id prefer more of a getaway , preferably out of the tri state area. We d also like to fly somewhere to give the kids the feeling that they're really getting away .

Why not look into Cape cod? You can go by flight but still short enough when thinking about flying with kids.

I'm not sure that Cape Cod will have a reliable weekday minyan except in Onset in August (bein ha'zmanim). I imagine you could find a house with private pool in Phoenix or San Diego, and no Zika concerns there.

Op here, thx for the ideas. We've been to trout lake- but looking to fly with kids without passports.
Thinking Phoenix or San Diego- anyone know about hotels/villas near shuls there?
