Just wondering when the suitable age of moving out of the high chair and into the booster seat is. My 2 year old is starting to refuse to sit in her high chair. It seems to soon to me, but at what age are most kids out?

No, I don't think its too early at all. A booster is suitable when you think the child can sit in it securely. I didn't use a highchair at all for my last 3 babies.

Mine did it at about 20 months. Boosters are officially suitable from 6 months - or when the baby can sit by themself.
Tho now that her brother's in it, DD wants to sit in it too.

if he doesnt want to sit in the higchair why not let him sit on a booster seat, or on a regular chair? I wouldnt force it... I think 2 is old enough to sit on a chair. I also dodnt think there is an age ... it depends on the child.
