I know the Rosh Yeshiva personally and he is a very special person. I also know a couple of bochurim who attended this yeshiva. Both really blossomed and went on to succeed in a mainstream Yeshiva Gedolah.

Are you talking about R' Gelbman's yeshiva? It is a chassidishe yeshiva. It is geared towards boys with learning difficulties who are otherwise well-adjusted. I know one person who went there because he had dyslexia. His parents spent a fortune on tutors and therapists while he was in elementary school. He could barely read his bar mitzva parsha. After 3 years in Ziv HaTorah, he was fully literate and smoothly adjusted to a regular yeshiva gedolah.

Thank you, it is rabbi gelbman. Do they have any extra curricular activities? Is it very chassidish? Im surprised, the person who recommended it is not chassidish

It's mostly very chassidish but there are some boys that are not chassidish.
