I'm curious to know which "upper middle class"
dishwashers you are happy with...
Along the lines of LG, Kitchen Aid, Jenn-Air, Kenmore Elite, etc....
I Probably cannot afford Bosch and Miele (they are supposed to be great !),
but I'd like better than the basic Whirlpool, Maytag, if possible.
(As in tall tub, stainless steel interior, China settting, etc..)

Okay, I guess it's a tough question!
We've been saving up to buy 2 new dishwashers (we've had a regular Kenmore for over 10 years and it's been great.)
We're just looking for something quiet, good cleaning abilities,
and large capacity.
Any brands that you're happy with ?
I'd love to hear !

I use the one my apt came with, and since I never had one before, I love it . . there are those with more bells and whistles,but why do you need them?
Mine - Amana - has three cycles, can be put on a timer, and has a hot water option too. (And dry, but I never use it.)
What more do you need? Pots cycle? Glass cycle? Aren't you washing a mixed load anyway?

I've had a Kenmore for a few yrs. Very happy with it (it doesn't have stainless interior), quit works well,has a smart wash cycle which uses less energy and works amazing. China and gentle for after shabbos - great.
In most case Kenmore products are supposed to be the top of line b/c they search for wich company makes the best let say dishwasher and use them for that specific product then will use another for the other.
