Right now, no diet. He is suffering from a terrible flare up. The dr just offered Meds- did not give any advice re. Lifestyle or diet.

I looked up online and found some basic guidelines but I'm looking for meal ideas.
Chicken, fish and lean meat; white rice, peeled potatoes, some cooked veggies.

Do I have to use bland spices?

White rice, roasted chicken (seasoned, but not spicy), blended cooked root vegetable soup (no peels).
