I'm looking to surprise husband with really beautiful makeup look, I usually wear very natural...I want specifically a beautiful eye shadow technique for brown eyes, like the type that looks like artwork (3 colors blended etc...) Would also like to buy a beautiful lipstick to fit the look. Any YouTube tutorials you can link or recommend? Any products? Much appreciated!!

Smokey Eye is very in trend and can be done with colors for a more dramatic effect.

On YouTube google Smokey Eye tutorial and see which looks you like best.

Also halo eyes are another technique in eye shadow you can search for. This look tends to be more colorful.

Do you have the eye shadows necessary for a more dramatic glamorous look?

No, I don't have the products and I also don't have the great taste to find my own video so asking for personal recommendations of actual videos...

It depends on your eye shape more than the color. Go to Sephora’s or any makeup counter and they can teach you.

I am sure you can tell what you like or not.

I buy eye shadow palettes and then I google for tutorials of how to use them. It depends on how much you want to spend. For example Huda or Anastasia have beautiful eye shadow palettes that create gorgeous glamorous looks but they palettes are expensive. Google Modern Renaissance palette by Anastasia of Beverly Hills. Or Urbsn Decay meattlic or Naked Smokey.

Yes that’s true. I have hooded eyes and so I specifically learned techniques for that. I love the tutorials by Wayne Goss who is an English makeup artist. I liked him so much I bought some of his brushes which are absolutely divine and worth every penny.

Look up tati on YouTube, her looks are classy but beautiful
Here's what I do:
Cover eyelid in concealer up to eyebrow, Pat in, set with face powder. Use fluffy brush with light brown shade in crease. Add a darker shade in outer corner and edge of outer crease with a tapered brush. Use copper (or any beautiful shade) in center of lid. Add very light highlight shade in inner corner. Use thick pencil liner in gold, silver, purple, anything. The add very thin line of liquid liner next to lashes. Add thick pencil to bottom lash line. Use nude eyeliner in waterline. To do something really festive, try stilla glitter and glow on just the inner third of the lid. Then curl lashes and two coats of mascara.
I do this every day of my life, I have a really makeup addiction.

You can go to Sephora or any upscale Dept. store and they will do it for you and you can then purchase the items.

try to google tati youtube tutorials...some are very very nice

she tests tons of makeup etc. she has thousands of videos, most looks are NOT natural but many are super elegant and special.

generally speaking: use a primer or start with a thin layer of foundation on your eyelid (this makes the shaddow pop) neutral darker browns with maybe warm greens and gold shimmer plus a highlight in the inner corner look great and are nice to blend.
make sure your eyebrows are nice, use a soft eyeliner (not too bold) and highlight the part just underneath the browbone.

ask at the cosmetics counter, many tipps depend on the shape of your eye!

what a nice idea to surprise dh with a new make up look, kol hakavod for coming up with such a nice idea.
ive tried before and sometimes he really really appreciated it, however most of the time he couldnt care less...and just either doesnt notice (and later appologizes) or says that it looks nice but he also likes me without any makeup...so well I guess it depends on the guy and his mood Wink
