I spent so much money on this tiny bag of sand. made such a huge mess. not that I care so much about the mess as b"H kids are kids, but was under the impression that sand kind of holds together and here it just went all over the place. (gave them a huge container to play in, and yet)

I don't know about Sands Alive, but I do have kinetic sand and I notice that brands differ. The original kinetic sand has a beautiful smooth feel and holds together great, very low mess especially if your kids are tame. Other brands not so much.

I have the original brand Kinetic Sand. It holds together. If my kids get some on the floor, we just pick up the pieces and put them back in the container. My friend bought another brand and it is not the same at all.
