I don't have one grandparent that went through world war one or two. We live in Boro Park for 100 years B"H.
I am the fourth generation American I even have cousin's that have kids so that makes us 5 generations.
Moms grandmother was Ukrainian and born in Argentina and raised in Bronx (skvere chasidim)
Moms fathers parents were born in Maimonides in 1912 their parents are Galician and Romanian.
My dads mom parents were Lithuanian (born there and he came at 18-David Lew the lawyer that Yom tov Ehrlich speaks about in his song) and one was born in USA originally her parents were born in Hungary.
My dad dad parents were Galician descent but born in USA.
I speak Lithuanian Yiddish and I am proud. I used to be bullied for it. With Hashems help my kids will also.
And No I don't want to be meshadach with people that are not Ukrainian or Polish/Galician. (The Hungarians are way too fancy for me.)
