Can anyone recommend a seamstress in lakewood that would be able to sew a simple gown for the sister of the kallah for a reasonable price?
Thanks

Try Ruckie Zuckerman. She used to do gowns at Sew Much More.

It's hard to imagine that any frum seamstress would do this before pesach... Pre yom tov is insanely busy for seamstresses. There is a lady in Tom's River named Marian who does this - don't know her number but many people use her and if you ask around you can probably get it. Also Darina on route 9 in Design and Stitch (I think that's what the shop is called)

Not sure it's the same but I also heard of a place on the 9 where there are some excellent seamstresses....a friend of mine's daughter was getting married, and her other daughter had a gown made for her in Israel, and it was a disaster...she came home from seminary just before the wedding, and they practically re-made it for her....might be the same place. Like somewhere around Walmart, on the other side, IIRC. Maybe farther down.

Yes that's the place. It's before Walmart on the right. In a little strip mall.

I went to Bella who is on county line- corner house across from four corners.
Her hours are 12-7 - no appointments
She is very good/ efficient etc. but she was not cheap.

Thanks! How much would pennina charge? Is design and stitch still around? Are they reasonable and good job? I went to someone in Toms River who sewed beautifully but didn't have or use a finishing machine so all looked so homemade on the inside I don't want this to fall apart...
Thanks for your help!
