What is the best milchig restaurant or cafe for a nice lunch date with dh?
Anyone have a buffet lunch?
Midtown area of nyc. No brooklyn please.

There aren't many fancy milchig places anywhere in Manhattan; it's too hard to make enough $ to afford the rent. I believe the nicest place - Va Bene on the UES - recently closed. Remaining options in midtown are Milk and Honey and Cafe K, and a bit farther away, Noidue and My Most Favorite. Check he hashgachas to make sure it's something you're comfortable with.

Basta kitchen just opened. Never been but the menu looks great.
