Do Rabbis invited expect to be called up to the Chuppah?

If you invite a Rabbi you know to your child’s wedding, are you expected to ask them to come up to the Chuppah? Do they get offended if you don’t?

Depends on the type of Rabbi and how close you are to them . A Rosh yeshiva ora shul Rabbi I would think it's expected to give a kavod for sure

obviously depends on the Rabbi.... some are happy (pleased even) to be 'just guests'.

DH is a Rabbi, and is always surprised if he gets called up. Definitely not expecting it.

That said, there are other Rabbis in the world and I can't speak for all of them!

What if the bride is close to the wife of the Rabbi but not the Rabbi himself?
