My current granola recipe is oatmeal, 3 types of nuts, 3 types of seeds, oil and honey.
I want to make this same thing into bars so it can be an easy food to eat on the go.
How can I do that?
Which ingredient will make it stick together as a bar?
Eggs?
Honey?

My other option is to omit the honey and somehow cover it with chocolate so that my husband will eat it.

anon cuz asked 2 friends on here about this irl

I looked up a recipe for nature valley granola bars. I used what I found and it’s quite good.
Oats, oil, brown sugar, honey, cinnamon, salt
It’s been a while though.

We add juicy wet medjool dates. No eggs ever. Honey is the binder, warm it up (in double boiler or similar idea) so it becomes super thin and runny.
