I bought a whole case of eggs on pesach bc like why not, it's pesach ect. Anyway I only used a few dozen. I kept the box in my basement. Today I was getting a dozen when I realize the eggs expired!
Do I throw them all out? Can I use them for just a little longer? I have so many dozen eggs!
Meanwhile I put quite a a few dozen in my fridge.
Please advise!

Place the egg in a bowl of water.
Very fresh eggs will lie on their side on the bottom. Semi-fresh eggs will stand upright on the bottom, and should be used very soon. Eggs that float are past their prime and should not be eaten.
