I have to buy some for the first time, and I'm so nervous. I rarely wear makeup anyway.

Tell me what I can learn from your mistakes! LOL Should I apply many coats? Should I get darker (or lighter) colors than usual?? Any brands you recommend? Or any I should stay away from? Is there anything I can apply ON shabbas? (I've heard clear lipliner, e.g.)

I know these sound like CRAZY questions, but it's an important event. And I know next-to-nothing.

Thank you in advance!

Oy. Soon, wait until the last possible second to apply? And what about drinking? Should I attempt to use a water bottle with a straw vs. a cup?

Maybe have it done professionally before shabbos?
Good luck!

Do you have a Blue Mercury near you? They'll make you up and try different looks with a minimum purchase. They sell lots of brands.

This. Especially if you hardly use make-up, in which case it will work out cheaper than purchasing an entire range just for this one instance.

Skip moisturizer before shabbos your makeup won’t slide off.

I've never heard of Blue Mercury. What is it? A salon?
