I found a little baby sized hot water bottle on Amazon. I ordered it today to try it out.

How do I make the camomile tea?
Anyone ever heard of brown sugar in warm water? Hoe much sugar to water?

Do you mean constipation? A little bit of grape juice helps them get it out.

Often it's gas, and grape juice can make it worse.
I try to position the baby in ways that assist in releasing gas.

I put them on their backs and “pedal” their feet as if they were reading a bike. I find it works pretty well. Or I hold them in a way to put some pressure on their stomachs.

I used mylicon/simethicone. I think it helped a little.

Another vote for simethicone/ Infant's Gas drops. Works really quickly. I bought the target brand, worked great & it's so cheap.

Mylicon was a life saver for me. Also as others mentioned, bike riding the legs.
Warm Chamomile tea & brown sugar bottle also helps.

op wrote newborn. I try putting pressure on baby's tummy by holding him on his tummy over my lap. also very upright over my shoulder and patting him on back. I burp him often. with such a little baby I would not do sugar water bottles. newborns can be fussy, it's just par for the course and we do our best to soothe them. with my first I used the mylicon/little tummies drops but I think it was more of a stage than gas.

I'm going to make you all jealous. I use homeopathic drops that my pharmacy makes themselves for babies. It's a true wonder drink. (I live in Europe) it works better than anything I ever tried (and my baby had terrible stomach pains a lot because of a effect of reflux. And because she had food allergies I wasn't aware of ) anyway it is amazing stuff

Also try to be careful what you eat. All things that make us gassy, give babies a lot of stomachache. Beans. Peppers. Onion. Big amounts of chocolate. Coleslaw...
