I have the caphalon grill pan and I am loving it! I grill cutlets on it a lot, but every time, the smoke alarm goes off.
I lightly spray it with pam first.
Usually happens during the second batch of cutlets and continues until I am done.

Any tips?

Are you putting sauce on the cutlets? The sweet sauces get smokey. Grill plain, add sauce after.

I meant spray more oil then you regularly do. I personally sprinkle some oil from a bottle.

Turn the flame off to let the pan cool for 30 seconds before going on to the next batch.

You need to turn off the flame after the first batch. Let it cool a bit, then wipe it out thoroughly with a paper towel. Then start again as if it's your first batch.

That's a great idea. I don't have the smoke issue, but I find my grill pan gets too juicy and the second batch doesn't get the grill lines. I think this would solve that problem.
