According to an article in the Lexington KY, HERALD (a daily newspaper), parents are seeing numerous ads for adhd meds and self diagnosing and coming to physicians and pediatricians requesting the meds that they see advertised to keep their children focused and consistent. An adhd medication ad showing a girl practicing her piano lessons is apt to inspire parents to request that pill for their child. I can see where parents will feel that medication will help kids get better grades or make taking care of them easier. Any feedback?
