Defintely do a bath. Perhaps put a sliding door to separate it from the toilet and sink. Then you are very private.

When we put in our master bathroom, we did just a shower (because of space constraints). I never really take a bath other than for mikvah, so I just do it at the mikvah. I really don't feel that I'm lacking.

a bath at the end of any hard day is a comforting to the body & soul ... not to mention what it can do for intimacy

I have a tub/shower combo. The tub is too small for me to bathe comfortably. If we redo that bathroom, I don't think there's a way to put a bigger bathtub in, so I'd put in a nice big shower.
If you have room to put in a tub you can use comfortably, do it. It's nice to have. But there's no point putting in the tub and dealing with getting in and out if you can't really use it.

I only have a shower and I LOVE it!!! You cant compare taking a shower in a bathtub to taking a shower in a tiled shower with big glass doors..
I bathe in the mikvah when I need to, and honestly the older the kids get the harder I find it to do prep at home anyway.
Oh, and the biggest shower you can fit will give you awesome date nights as well

This was the post I was about to write. We have a bench in our shower and love it.

I have a large jacuzzi tub in the master bedroom and hardly use it. It is very hard to keep clean and if not clean looking it’s really not inviting. I do use the shower in the tub all the time. One reason why it’s hard to clean is the material it’s made of. Big mistake to buy a cheap plastic tub just because it looks nice when new...
That said, I still am grateful that I have my privacy using the tub when I do use it. I would recommend that you do put one in as you won’t ever do it later on. This is your chance and I strongly suggest that you put in a good quality tub to be enjoyed over the years. If space is a problem then look into a corner tub which is triangular and takes up much less space

I love the aesthetic of a big shower with big frameless glass doors and beautiful tiles.
I don’t enjoy bathing so for the occasional bath I’d rather not have to stand in slippery white tubs every morning .
I’d put a bench inside the shower too.

I have both a big Jacuzzi and a tiled shower. I hate bathing at the mikvah so I want a bath big enough at home. Also I sometimes use it to relax and so does dh. I use my shower more but definitely love my bathtub.

Exactly, I renovated and put in a nice size corner shower with frameless glass surrounding it. Easy in, Easy out. Delicious Rain Shower including separate hand held shower. Temperature set to always comfortable. I love it. I spoke to many people that have tubs and they hardly use it. It is hard to step in and out....Showers are delicious & royal...I wouldn't change for anything!!!
