Don't like Chinese garlic! Need R' Efrati or other similar Badatzhecsher. Where in Jerusalem can I find it? Or is there a grower I can buy from who will deliver? I want to buy a lot, grind and freeze. TIA!

Not an answer to your question, but what is wrong with Chinese garlic? I (in the US) avoid it as well, as it looks too "perfect," but does it taste different from other local garlic?

Hi, OP here. By the time it gets to Israel, I often havevto throw out a lot of the Chinese garl8c. So I try to buy locally when I can.

I'm not a particularly finicky shopper but I also try to avoid foodstuff from China when possible.
There are questions regarding food safety that involve the growing and the processing stages.
I only buy Israeli garlic - usually the peeled cloves in a package as they are so convenient.
I don't remember the particulars of the hechsher though.
