please google:
Children's electrolyte drink recipe or something similar. You should be able to find a substitute.

I did. they have sugar & salt (I don't need to add taste as its given through a gtube) I just don't know mathematically if the .9% of this saline water I have, if it is too much or too little salt...

thanks. I'm stuck home with a medically fragile child. my wonderful DME has not delivered what they were supposed to. pharmacy delivery is also taking their time... anyway, just got fruit punch flavored from a neighbor. so she can have the delicious food coloring pumped into her.

Chamomile tea?
How old is the child?
Main thing is to be hydrated not the electrolytes

If your child is medically fragile I would suggest reaching out to your ped for recommendations of what and how to substitute

Ask your pediatrician if you can use pure coconut water instead. You can find at any 24 hr grocery just make sure to read ingredients and ask the dr.

Thanks for suggestion. I wasn't able to get out of the house. otherwise I would've gotten the unflavored pedialyte in the morn...
in any case as today was holiday I didn't call her doc to ask for substitutions as other posters also suggested.
