We are looking at different neighborhoods within Monsey and are looking for an area that would have a Chassidic shul ( I know that one's easy) but also would be walking distance to a more open accepting not chassidic shul, the type of place that someone with slacks, a colored shirt, and a suede or knitted yamulke would feel comfortable. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Forshay, Wesley hills, some areas in Chestnut Ridge & Airmont.
Monsey is full of little Shuls all over. I'm sure in any area you go you can find all kinds.

The area around Community Synagogue of Monsey, which is on West Maple.
Or Bais Torah, which is on Carlton Rd.
