I would be in Willimasburg if not for two reasons:
1-Yom tov is over shabbos and can't carry. My inlaws eat at my grandparents a whole yom tov and as much as I would love to be there, I'd rather not stay stuck in the projects a whole yom tov.
2-Simchas Torah is a yom tov more for the kids than for the adults. If I go to Williamsburg, DH would go only to the big shul and it's not exactly the greatest place to shlep two little kids to, so he'll go to his shul around the corner and the kids will be able to dance with him.
