Public schools Queens area

I'm looking at district 25 (Queens, Flushing) area for public schools. I'm torn, and not happy to transfer from yeshiva to public, but sometimes you have to do what's best. Anyway, for those of you in this area, and send to public, which school would you recommend? Which one has a few more jewish kids in the school? are you satisfied with the school? etc... Thank!

Unless there are extenuating circumstances, you cant pick which public school to send to. Its decided for you based on where you live.
ETA: Maybe its not that way in every state, but it is where I live and in the other 5 states that I’ve lived.

NYC has a complicated system. You can apply outside your zone, but if the school is crowded/popular, you won't get a slot.

If you need a high school rather than an elementary school:
I don't know if Forest Hills High School is within district 25 or not (I'm guessing not), but I've heard it's the public high school with the most Jews in Queens. Most are not frum/have low levels of religious observance.
