Hope to leave Sunday for 4 days/3 nights.

Going with kids ages 8-12

Where to stay? What's a reasonable nice clean hotel recommendation?

What to do that's not too expensive after hershey park?

Tia!

If you care going to Hershey you could also look to sleep over in the Harrisburg area and have more options.

Lake Tobias is closer to Harrisburg - Great full day for the entire family but not so cheap.

I find doing a few of the smaller trips end up adding up to a lot because they don't take the entire day.

Herr's factory tour
Kreider's Farm
Perrydell York Dairy Farm (really better for the younger kids - but FREE!)
Strousberg Railroad
Verdant View Farm
Horse and Buggy Ride with a Farm Tour

Double tree Hilton Lancaster! Was just there.....there’s a children’s pool with slides n fun stuff....very enjoyable place
We enjoyed Strasberg railroad, and Dutch wonderland. Didn’t have time for more.
I’m thinking of going back during chol hamoed to Hershey Park and the big thing we’re excited abt is that afew hotels (including doubletree) will have succah, boxed breakfast, and separate swimming.

We stayed in lancaster inn and suites (or something like it). Not best location, a little far from the minyan, but great price and super amazing experience: clean, friendly, helpful, door between bedroom and lviing room so we had privacy at night. Whirlpool in bedroom. Loved the place!!!
