Looking for a (female) Shomeres Shabbos caregiver for a 50 year old developmentally disabled woman (functioning on an approximately 2 year old level, but physically fine and no real medical issues). Very friendly and tactile - needs a caring but firm personality.

The paid position includes a private bedroom in a building with a doorman/concierge on the Upper East Side of Manhattan, one block away from Central Park. While the developmentally disabled woman requires 24-hour supervision, daytime is mostly covered by her primary aide. We are mainly seeking someone for Shabbosim and Yomim Tovim (possibility to bring a friend or husband) - maybe some nights or daytimes, but not as critical. Looking for people who can be involved as part of a rotation on an on-going basis. Experience dealing with special needs necessary.
