and on diaper .
We've called Mohel and are waiting for answer. How rare is this? anyone here know what there is to do and why it happened?

Your mohel should not only be calling back, he shoudl be coming by a time or 2 to check.

I think it's normal. Is the bris still bandaged or off? Is there a lot of blood or just a little?
Until you hear from mohel, just keep doing as told (I assume bacitracin or something like that). and don't worry too much.

we were bandaging the wound for six days! There was still some blood for a couple of days after the bris, about four or five days. but please call the mohel!

Its totally normal to see small amounts of blood for the first week. If there is a lot of blood, the mohel should check---it takes about 2 weeks to look normal

Mohel said to apply Bacitracin with gauze as on the first day, and all is well B"H.

I couldn't even remember ... although I was scared to change the first diaper ... glad all is good ... never hurts for mohel to come and check ... that is his job ...
