Is Magen David school (the high school) Syrian-run, or does it simply have a high percentage of Syrian families?
I am asking specifically because I would like to know if the edict (re conversions) is an admissions factor.
Please feel free to PM me if you have personal experience with this.

According to a friend who went there and whose mother is a teacher there: yes, it's Syrian and yes, the takana applies.

the takana would apply.
If the conversion was due to an adoption, there's an exception for that.
