For many years Ive worn a watch that was along the lines of the Cartier tank that weighs about 2 ounces. Now, for a change, I ordered a highly rated large faced Michael Kors watch on Amazon, for less than $200, and it weighs triple. I see so many women wearing the Michael Kors type large-faced watches with metal bands and many of those styles weigh 10 ounces. One or two styles weigh 6 ounces. I called Michael Kors and they told me that the heavier the watch is, the better its made, they have more metal in it and less plastic parts.
Do the expensive large faced real gold womens watches that celebrities pay the equivalent of down payments for, weigh that much too, or are they made to be more comfortable? Are some women comfortable wearing a watch that weighs a pound? If you think thats not a lot, go ahead and weigh your watch. My present watch has a metal band and isnt tiny, and weighs 1.9 ounces.
