I am looking for a dentist who does tooth extractions in Brooklyn and accepts United Healthcare Community Plan. I am very nervous about this and would like someone who is gentle and will use general anesthesia if possible. TIA

I don’t remember the name of the dentist but It is on coney and kings highway. They were amazing. I was petrified but they were really quick and painless!

Find out if Dr. Hertz accepts your insurance. Excellent.

I got wisdom tooth taken out and it was quick (the procedure not the wait time lol takes hours) and clean. I had complications not from the surgery but as a reaction due to other health issues and Dr feygin was super on top of it and professional and called my personal cell phone to follow up with the referral

I was panicking when I had to take out my wisdom teeth. I wanted to be asleep. I was petrified. Dr. Zeitlin was superb! I told him how nervous I am and he took the time to calm me down and tell me that I'll be fine without general anesthesia. I was literally shaking, but he waited till I was ok and the procedure was done quickly, efficently and without general anesthesia. I went back to him for my other 2 wisdom teeth and BH experience was awesome again. Don't know about his coworker, never tried him.

Also, when going to any Dr., If you feel you need extra care, it doesn't hurt to bring some cake or chocolate...

Hatzlacha! Be prepared with plenty of ice packs for recovery!!

My husb and I both went to kings highway and coney. That’s dr birnbaums office but neither of us used dr birnbaum but don’t remember who. They have the option of general anesthesia and I asked for general anesthesia. We both had wonderful experiences. They gave me very strong pain meds for after and they made me dizzy and nauseas so they told me to try 600-800 mg of ibuprofen and that worked very well. Must be taken w food. Milkshakes, ice cream, yogurtetc. If you make an apt wsit Shiffy be too long if your a walk in you can wAit 4-5 hours. Hatzlacha

My friend has united health care & was gonna pull a tooth @ Dr Zeitlin & they wanted to charge about $1500 out of pocket. (They also charge for 3D imaging)

In the end she found different surgeon that was gona do all under ins so she went there... it's over a year later & her lip is still numb @ that site... (heard of a few people who had same experience with that surgeon)

Had she paid the $1500 to Dr Zeitlin she might have very likely recovered well w/o staying numb cuz they're real professionals & know what they're doing

If you can afford that money then you should definitely go to Dr Zeitlin

My friend likes Hertz. My sil just used him actually. I used Birnbaum and was happy- they usually put you to sleep.

When I went to Dr.. Zeitlin he took United healthcare. Didn't charge a dime. But I'd pay if I had to, knowing now that he's really amazing.
