DD doesn’t like her “new” school shoes. She says it’s not what the girls are wearing.
Since she seems so embarrassed I brought her to 2 shoe stores recently and asked her what she liked. She said girls are wearing a certain style shoe but she couldn’t find it in the stores we went to. She did try on some others but they didn’t fit her well.
So.... if you have a 5th grade daughter, please tell me what the girls are wearing.

My 7th grade daughter just asked for platform lace ups from Zara. I’ve seen adults and kids wearing this style.

They're wearing shoes with zippers, loafer sneakers style shoes, high tops & booties.

Basically any slip on sneaker works (my daughter in 5th has Sperry coiled lace, not tie, shoes...not in NY though)
