My brothers only daughter's bat mitzvah is coming up. I am overseas but we try to stay in touch as much as possible. I love her, but to be honest she isn't very mature, and is quite spoiled. She isn't 'into' Judaism, but I would like to somehow get her something meaningful. Any ideas? She likes clothing/fashion, baking and playing electronic games, but I would really like to get her something religiously meaningful.

Tzedaka box. A fancy/silver one. Teach her to give and be charitable.

Personalized siddur, a nice pink purple one. Find out her nusach. My cousin in Manhattan loved it!
I give bracelets from the hosiery store to my nieces. 25$ price range.

A siddur with a pretty cover AND a small but pretty piece of jewelry. That way you've gotten her something religiously meaningful, without being too dull. I don't know your budget but cute girly siddurs run about $15 and then whatever else you planned to spend can get a cute necklace or something anywhere from $15 and up.

Thanks for your responses. She already has a personalized siddur and machzorim. I'd love to spend in the $25 range. If I cant think of anything meaningful, I am leaning towards a cookbook. She is more into baking though. Recommendations for cookbooks anyone?
