So I decided to make a nice lunch in honor of the holiday for my husband, I set the table nicely and prepared ravioli, a big salad, delicious egg and vegetable wrap and some homemade cookies.....
I called my husband to come eat and got busy upstairs with my baby.
When I came down I see my cleaning lady sitting and enjoying the delicious feast!!!!!
All I could do was keep a straight face and wish her a happy Thanksgiving

She must have figured this was your way of thanking her for coming to work on the holiday.

I feel like a terrible person but I don't think I would've found it funny at all!! I would've been so disappointed - all that work for my dh and he didn't even get to enjoy it!

I improvised a bit and she didn't eat it all so hubby got lunch as well!
And I guess she figured the 2 placemats are for me and her- though I only prepared a bit for myself.
