Any suggestions for a great CD for children with the Chanukah story?
I wish there was something as good as Kirsch's Purim Story.

For what age children?
We found many of the cd's to be scary for our children; however, we did like Chanukah USA (and you may actually find it to be similar to The Purim Story)

Age 6. (Though I'd love for it to be interesting enough for a 12 year old to enjoy it while it's on too.)
Thanks for the suggestion! Is it the full story or mostly songs? The only samples they have is from the songs.

When I was young we LOVED Rabbi Fishel Schachter's chanuka tape. I learned a lot about chanuka from it, too.
Chanuka USA was great too, though not as much as Purim USA (it is even by the same person?)
Rebbi Hill's chanuka story terrified me and gave me nightmares.

Is anyone familiar with Professor Torah - A Chanukah Miracle? It looks like it's another creation by Kirsch, though not about the original Chanukah story. I wish there were sample snippets available online.

It’s a fantastic laugh out loud story. We first bought it for a long trip and everyone including adults enjoyed.
It doesn’t really have too much to do with Chanukah at all. Just that one night of the story happens on chanuka.
There are some lines of that story that are now permanently etched in our family dialogue.
Some songs are not recorded clearly.
