I was at a music celebration tonight and I happened to be sitting down and on either side of me were a few empty seats. A woman with a toddler appeared to be making her way to the other side of the room and was walking through the row I was sitting in. She stopped right in front of me and lingered. I figured she just had to stop and catch her footing or something but she actually stopped in front of me as if I wasn't even there and just stood there. What would you do? Just simply move or ask her to move out of your way?

I would assume she was distracted or oblivious , say excuse me and have her move.

I'm not very assertive so I would just move and not say anything. My sister though , she would say "Excuse me you are blocking my view, can you please move over".

I can't stand people like that. Read my old thread and it still happens.

If there were just as good seats I could easily move to, then I would just move. If not I would politely ask her to move.
