My husband has 2 days off from work for x-mas and we would like to go on vacation. I have a newborn so it would have to be something low key. I’m thinking of a place with nice weather and beautiful scenery. I don’t want somewhere local to ny, preferably want a flight away to give us a real sense of vacation.
My husbands only preference is a place with a minyan and kosher food.
Where can I go with newborn and with somewhat a Jewish community?
Thanks

Florida is the obvious choice.

I wouldn’t recommend taking a newborn on a plane at this time of year (flu season).

Flying for one night getaway seems silly; most of your time will be spent in the airport. Just go somewhere driveable

I don’t know if I’d take a newborn on a plane now.
But I would fly for just a day or two. DH and I have no vacation. 2 days is tons. We haven’t flown anywhere in 10+ years. If we had 2 days together I’d fly if we could.
