DS has extremely straight hair. His haircut style is bangs in the front that come about halfway to 3/4 of the way down his forehead. Brushing his hair to the side when wet doesn't make any difference--it just dries straight back down.
Any ideas on how to make his bangs stay swept to the side? I don't care much either way, but he's been telling me he doesn't like how they look this way.

Why not trim them shorter? A more layered cut is a nicer look here.

Amother, what kind of gel?
Lymnok, it's layered all around his head, it's just the bangs that are an issue. Shorter straight bangs just makes him look silly with his hair type. When it's slicked to the side it looks best, but it just doesn't stay that way.

I got my son Jack Black Clay Pomade. That's the name of the setting gel. Jack Black products are a bit pricey. I think Dippty Do should work also.
