Is it worth to take a trip to Niagara in the winter, for midwinter break? Any information on best places to visit, and where to get kosher food or kosher restaurants? TIA

There’s no kosher food. Other than that, speak to Chabad Niagara. They sell tickets and have deep knowledge of the area.

I can't see it being a great place to vacation in the winter. The primary experiences are all about the falls-- going in a boat near the falls, walking on a path near the falls, going in a tunnel under the falls, etc. There seemed to be limited things to do that were indoors, but maybe someone else knows better...

We’ve only gone one night in winter for short trip but we really like it. (We’ve gone a few winters)
Hotel prices are really cheap so you can get a truly amazing large room with great views for a decent price.
It is cold so we bundle up and only downs short amount of time outside (we aren’t there so long)
We walk across rainbow bridge at night (not sure if the light are still on now)
We once did the Canadian tunnels. It was cold but we really bundled up. Some kids were kvetch due to cold and some loved it. The nice part is there was no crowds so we could move freely and take our time
Walk along the falls (and get hot Tim Horton coffee to warm up inside) and the parking lot is empty so you get prime parking.
We go swimming in the hotel
And ‘swim’ in the jacuzzi over looking the falls.
And have a big breakfast.
We once got a hotel packuage on Groupon for arcades and did arcades, laser tag, mirror room, etc
There are other indoor attractions but we didn’t stay long enough.

We went once around Thanksgiving time. Some attractions are closed for the season, and it can be quite cold, but prices are much cheaper than in the summer, and it's very uncrowded.
