Looking for recommendations for a baby carrier for a 6 month old baby/18 lbs.
Need it for vacation.
Do not want a baby wrap that I have to spend time wrapping each time I wear it.
Thanks!
ETA I don't want to spend too much as this is probably the only time I'll be wearing it.
Also, I am short.

I have the Lille.
I used it on vacation it was great.
It has a lumbar support that really makes it easier on your back.
(I also have the ergo. You can't compare)

Love my Tula. But I haven’t tried any other similar ones to compare.

I really like the boba 4g since I am on the shorter side (5'2). I found it comfortable and easy to adjust. My friends who like the Ergo are taller and told me that its more suited for someone like that.

You should go
To a store and speak to consultants. I even took a class. I have and loved Ergo but I took a class to learn how to wear it properly and I recommend seeing what options are best for your body type

I've had two. One I bought at a store, and it was okay.
The second one, I spent several days researching types and price ranges.
I bought this one, and it is AWESOME! Breathable. Takes weight off the back. A seat for the baby. Love it. Affordable.

It's really individual. I've tried Lillebaby, Ergo, Beco Gemini (which I haven't yet seen recommended), and Tula and I think I like Tula the best and Ergo second, but I have friends who swear by Lillebaby and tell everyone it's the best carrier on the market no matter the age of the child, and I just don't agree. I think you need to try on before buying.

I absolutely love my ergo360. Its nice because depending on the situation you can put your baby on your back or front. I have nursed in my ergo, my baby would nap. I carried my daughter all over Europe and Israel, as well as other trips and it is super comfortable. I am also short. That being said it does depend on the person and the ideal would be to try before you buy.
Also you might find you like baby wearing. I wear my daughter in Shul every week during kiddish in either the Ergo or ring sling and sometimes if she is super clingy, like when she is sick, I will wear her when I cook.

If you're just going to need it for this one vacation see if anyone has one you can borrow. I really recommend looking for an Ergo (they are way to expensive to purchase for a one-trip use though). But really ask around to see if someone has one you can borrow.
