For Clown theme:

In the times of Purim not so many years ago,
Radiant faces, children aglow-
Happy children scampering all over town
A red nose and color-paper hat,
what an adorable clown!!!

Music was heard full blast-
Children jumping from joy,
Purim is here at last!!!

A simple Mishloach Monos-
Two Minim as is Halacha
M'zol kennen machan a Bracha!!!

No Tylenol for mommy, a certain ruig-keit in the home!!!
No peer pressure, no gimmicks
"Each one to it's own"

This year I've decided to try the tales of old
Dress my kinderlach the Good Ol' fashion- Worth it's weight in gold!!!

The Ikur let's not forget
The Kedusha of the day,
and have our priorities set!!!

🤠👙🤠Happy Purim 🤠👙🤠

Fruit Ambrosia Mishloach Monos:

Cook up jello
Can pineapple tidbits
Can mandarin
Can peaches
Frozen strawberries or cherry pie filling (many people don't eat strawberries)
(You can buy these cans in bulk)

It's Simple to prepare, refreshing, used for the purim Sueda or for shabbos.

I added these words:
Pineapple, Peaches, Cherry, Mandarin-
Jello and liqueur too...
This yummy fruit compote is for your family & you.
Enjoy this dessert at your sueda,
Then sing & dance ADA LO YOODA!!!

Dear: (Morah/Therapist/Tutor...)

Just like the Ambrosia
Is a mix of many different fruits,
So are you-
Working with a mix of
"Love, Care and Compassion,
Devotion, Dedication & Passion"
You're kind and caring too,
That's why we say THANK YOU!!!

Dear: (Sister or Friend)
Just like the Ambrosia
Is a mix of many different fruits,
So are you-
Thanks for being a sister/friend who
Shares, Cares, Listens without judging
And gives chizuk too,
I feel so blessed having a sister/friend LIKE YOU!!!

I put it in cute sealed containers
or pitcher (seal with cling wrap- it sticks better than saran wrap)
or in cute glass wine bottles (with a good closure, from Amazing savings)

For a Beautiful big arrangement:
Put the Fruit Salad in a Big plastic bowl with serving plastic spoon, on large clear tray- (Platter Tray)
Can add mini cups of colorful jello around with mini spoons.

P.S. This striking delicious Arrangement Can be made as a centerpiece to send for Simchas as well.

Please remember, OP, that it's far easier to be a critic than to create something. Wink

That said, Purim is a very busy day. I don't have time or patience to concentrate on long explanations, even if they are in adorable rhymes. If I absolutely must write something to tie a theme together I would do something really tiny like a tagline. A teacher can get four lines, max, if it's on Purim day, and a longer heartfelt note if I send a tip or MM with the child in school.

If it brings you joy to express your creativity, go right ahead! Purim is all about simcha after all.

I recently made a simcha and a dear friend couldnt make it- she sent me a poem that Said:
Your simcha I couldnt make today
Because I live very far away!
No!
But it was not much better- generic, and recycled and I wish she would have just written that she wish she could have joined me and was sad to have missed it in her own words- would be more meaningful

Last year I wrote a really cute poem to tie my mm into Purim. I heard feedback from a lot of recipients how cute it was. So while some of you don’t go for poems many others certainly do. Thank you Surrendered for your time!

I love poems that come with mm! Just not when its a personal thank you that seems to be recycled like some people will send to therapists and teachers etc.

Thanks for your sweet comment, it feels nice to get positive feedback.
I invest alot of time to create these poems myself and to personalize one for each person I want to show appreciation.
After all the negative comments, it bothered me that I took the time to post it. I thought people might appreciate it.
Your post makes it feel worthwhile.

Sorry surrendered if I said anything that hurt you- a personalized poem is special... last year my sister asked if I want a poem for my therapist that she got from her friend. She was giving a plant with a poem about all the special therapists
The care you all showed
You watered and hoed
And it bothered me that people wouldnt rather write their own words.
Thats what I was saying
Have a wonderful purim!
Who knows-
Maybe I’m on your purim list as well and we both dont know it?
I sure would love that

You did write that you appreciate poems attached to mm.
Thanks for your nice comment.
You just feel that a hand-me-down poem is silly, so do I.
If I would want to use someone else's poem I liked, I would twitch it and personalize it for that person and occasion.

Although I love poetry- both writing and reading- I prefer that a thank you card or thinking of you note be in prose- seems more real somehow

What about if I Express my deep feelings of gratitude, just in a poem form?

I love poetry!
Prose sometimes sounds more personal
Sometimes!
If you can make it work
Go for it!

Your clown one was really cute!
I also like to write poems, but not usually for my MM.
I write MM poems for my nieces' MM, and sometimes for a sis-in-law. Short and sweet and cute! Smile

I'd read some lines, but not a megila and I certainly am happy it's not a thing outside of NY. I would never pay a pro to do my things, it's my amusement and so not worth it. People do not care or notice if it's pro

Eishesyo- are you asking if people notice your graphics and stickers or just the poem? Because those are noticed for sure
