When my 17 month old was a newborn he really struggled with latching on, he made clicking sounds, was always screaming and I was constantly in pain. Luckily it is no my first and I realised something was wrong. at 7 weeks old we realised that he had a pretty bad tongue tie and he had it cut. There was a slight improvement but after about 2 weeks it started getting difficult again and he had it recut because a small part had reattached. I didnt find it magic but eventually it all settled and managed to breastfeed him. Now at 17 months old, I realised his teeth are growing a bit interesting (big gap on top) and I looked in and saw a he had a lip tie!
Can he have any difficulty with anything or can we just leave it?

Yes, it can still cause him trouble, unfortunately. Are you in the NY area?

Hi, you need Malcolm Levinkind in East Finchley, he specialises in this. Not cheaply though. 🙂 My son’s lip tie was lasered by him very efficiently although it was done before his teeth came through.
