Anything made of textile discolors or starts to break down over time.
Also, the next generation will inherit a whopping amount of stuff that has no value to anyone, even the thrift store.
Ask yourself what you would do with the item if you needed to downsize and move.
I threw away 6 years worth of high school annuals when I moved.
Consider having a garage sale and then you will know if the beloved items at least went to a good home. Some crafters make new things out of old ones.
